They ran, walked, and rolled, to support the Institute for the Redesign of Learning (IRL) for its 3rd annual Empowering All Abilities Run/Walk. The 2024 walk was a rain soaked special event to celebrate IRL’s 50 years of service, empowering individuals of all abilities to take charge of their learning and lives to be competent, caring, and contributing members of society, and came out to support Almansor and Westmoreland Academies, Community Outreach, Clinical Services, Early Childhood Education, and our Adult Services programs. All participation directly supported the vital work IRL does in our community every day. The walk started on the historic Arroyo Seco Trail located by the South Pasadena Baseball Fields and was flat with a gradual incline. A few changes because of the rain, but a good event for a great cause still.
